45 workshops and seminars and 120 speakers at events "Gulf Diwan"

KUWAIT, 5 JANUARY / WAM / The Diwan Harvard Foundation announced the conclusion of the Diwan Al Khaleej activities, with the participation of 120 speakers and the holding of 45 sports and cultural workshops and discussions in the presence of about 2,000 from different segments of society, coinciding with the Arabian Gulf Cup “Khaleeji Zain 26”. Saad Al-Tami, Director of Diwan Al-Khaleej, confirmed that the various activities organized by Diwan Al-Khaleej on the sidelines of the tournament in cooperation with the Public Authority for Youth achieved great success, and witnessed great participation from speakers in various specializations from inside and outside Kuwait.

He said that “Diwan Al Khaleej”, in its first edition, consolidated its success through its pivotal goals, specific programs, diversity, and cultural and awareness value in establishing best practices to support the growth of intellectual awareness among segments of society. It also embodied its position as a platform for culture and sports.

He extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to His Excellency Abdul Rahman Al-Mutairi, Minister of Information and Culture, Minister of State for Kuwaiti Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Organizing Committee of the “Khaleeji Zain 26” Championship, for his sponsorship of the Diwan in its first edition, and his keenness to provide all the requirements for its success. He also praised the support and interest of His Excellency Dr. Matar Al-Neyadi.
