Sarhan was born on January 6th. 1916 in Port Said, where he obtained a baccalaureate, then came to Cairo and worked as an employee in the Ministry of Agriculture. He loved acting.

Mohsen Sarhan began his first film with Mary Queenie in 1938, which was “The Pasha’s Daughter the Director,” and in 1940 he made the film “In Search of Women,” which achieved great success. He then did liberal studies in the arts of cinema and theater in 1944 and joined In the national band.
