The foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia and America discuss regional developments by telephone

Today, Monday, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah discussed with his American counterpart, Anthony Blinken, the efforts made regarding regional developments.

The Saudi News Agency (SPA) reported that Minister Bin Farhan made a phone call today with Minister Blinken, during which they discussed “regional developments and the efforts made regarding them.”

The Saudi minister’s call comes hours after his meeting in Riyadh with the American envoy to Lebanon, Amos Hochstein, and days before a session of the Lebanese Parliament to elect a president for the country.

The Saudi Foreign Ministry said, in a statement yesterday, that Bin Farhan discussed with the American envoy to Lebanon “current regional issues, including developments on the Lebanese scene, and the efforts made regarding them.”
