المملكة: 71% Saudization rate in Riyadh Metro

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development announced that the Saudization rate in the Riyadh Metro facility reached 71%.
The Ministry listed the most important jobs that were localized in the facility, which are mechanical train systems engineer, train electrical systems engineer, train movement official, communications and transportation systems official, railway official, railway safety official, safety systems official, maintenance center manager, and power settings technician. Riyadh Metro stages completed

The stages of the Riyadh Metro were completed with the launch of the orange track trips from the Riyadh Metro, “Madinah Road Corridor”, with a length of 40.7 km, as the third and final stage of the plan to operate the train network, which provides high flow for users.

The operation included five stations: “Jeddah Road Station,” “Tuwaiq Station,” “Al-Douh Station,” “Haroun Al-Rashid Road Station,” and “Al-Naseem Station,” which is one of the transfer stations linking the orange route and the purple route.

The orange track in the Riyadh Metro

The orange route extends towards the east and west along Medina Road and Prince Saad bin Abdul Rahman I Road, and begins in the west near the Jeddah Expressway and ends in the east near the National Guard camp in Khashm Al-Aan.

Riyadh Train - SPA

The track rises mostly along the western part of Medina Road, then underground in a tunnel in the middle section of the track, generally on a slope along Prince Saad bin Abdul Rahman Road. This route includes 22 stations, including 20 substations and two interchange stations.
