More than 3 million dirhams proceeds from the Sharjah Horse Auction

Sharjah, January 7 / WAM / The proceeds of the Sharjah Auction for Purebred Arabian Horses amounted to three million and 121 thousand dirhams, where 60 horses were sold out of 75 of the horses presented in the auction, which were classified as speed racing horses (track) and horse show horses, while The mare, Reham Al-Zubair, won the highest price of 260 thousand dirhams.

The auction activities, which were organized by the Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club this evening, were attended by Sheikh Abdullah bin Majid Al Qasimi, President of the Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club, Sultan Muhammad Khalifa Al Yahyai, ​​Director General of the Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club, and a large number of Arabian horse owners in the Emirates, Saudi Arabia and the Sultanate of Oman.

The auction witnessed the presence of a number of local stalls and stables, namely Sharjah Stud, Al Qasimi Stables, Emirates Stud for Arabian Horses, Al Badayer Stud for Arabian Horses, Al Zubair Stud for Arabian Horses, Al Abadla Stud for Arabian Horses, and Al Hawajer Stud.

Sultan Al Yahyai stressed that the large presence of horse owners and owners is a clear indication that the auction achieves its goal every year and presents itself as one of the most important horse auctions held in the country, and contributes to spreading and promoting equestrian sports and its service.

The Emirates Arabian Horse Association organized the process of transferring ownership of sold horses directly to facilitate the owners and sellers.
