المملكة: Kingdom’s weather: continued drop in temperatures and thunderstorms

The National Center of Meteorology expects, in its weather report today, Wednesday, on the regions of the Kingdom, that the opportunity is still ripe for moderate to heavy thunderstorms that will lead to torrential rains, accompanied by hail showers and active winds that stir up dust and dust in parts of the eastern region.
It will be light in parts of Jazan, Asir and Al-Baha regions.
Temperatures also continue to drop in parts of the regions of Tabuk, Al-Jawf, the northern border, and Hail, and its impact extends to the regions of Al-Qassim and Riyadh, with the chance of fog forming in those areas.
Meanwhile, surface winds are active, stirring up dirt and dust, limiting horizontal visibility over parts of the Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Medina regions.
Red Sea
Surface winds: northeasterly to easterly at a speed of 25-50 km/h in the northern and central parts, and southeasterly to southwesterly at a speed of 15-32 km/h in the southern part.
Wave height: from one and a half to two and a half meters in the northern and central parts, and from half a meter to one and a half meters in the southern part.
Sea condition: Moderate to wavy waves in the northern and central parts, and light to moderate waves in the southern parts.
Arabian Gulf
Surface winds: North to northwesterly at a speed of 12-35 km/h, reaching more than 50 km/h, with the formation of rainy thunderclouds over the northern and central parts.
Wave height: from half a meter to one and a half meters, reaching above two metres, with the formation of rainy thunderclouds over the northern and central parts.
Sea condition: Light to medium waves reaching wavy, with the formation of rainy thunderclouds over the northern and central parts.
