The Al-Ahly club training session, which was held today at the club’s headquarters on the island, witnessed exciting scenes on the sidelines of preparations for the upcoming matches.
The most prominent event was South African Percy Tau’s farewell to his teammates, after his approaching departure to the Qatari League in a final transfer deal.
The players and technical staff were keen to support Tao and bid him farewell in an emotional way, wishing him success in his new career. Tao’s transfer comes after a distinguished period with Al-Ahly, during which he won several local and continental titles.
On the other hand, Mahmoud Abdel Moneim “Kahraba” was absent. About training today, in light of intense negotiations on the part of the player to resolve his future. Reports indicate that Kahraba is currently considering two offers to leave, one from a Libyan club and the other from an Iraqi club, with expectations that he will decide his decision in the coming days.
