Surprise.. Mohamed Salah announces the end of his career with Liverpool

Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, the top scorer and star of Liverpool, blew up a huge surprise, after he announced the end of his career with the English team at the end of the current season, putting an end to a career full of achievements within the walls of the “Reds”.

Salah revealed his decision through a video he posted on his official account on the Instagram platform, during which he confirmed that the current season will be his last in a Liverpool shirt, in a poignant message to the club’s fans.

Salah said in his message: “Unfortunately today has come… the current season is my last season with Liverpool. I did not imagine this day would come or for me to say that. You cannot imagine what this city means to me… the city, the club, the fans… they have become a part of my life.”

He added: “Liverpool is not just a club, it is a great history,” indicating the depth of his connection to the club and its fans, after years of brilliance and success.

The Egyptian star sent a message of thanks to everyone who worked with him within the club, whether in the past or present, stressing that the decision to leave was not easy, saying: “Leaving is not easy for me… They gave me the most beautiful days of my life.”

It is expected that Salah’s announcement will open the door to speculation about his next destination, in light of the interest of a number of international clubs in obtaining his services, after an exceptional career that made him one of the most prominent Liverpool legends in the modern era.
