More than 184 thousand beneficiaries of the services of Ajyad Emergency Hospital and the Grand Mosque Hospital and Emergency Centers during 2024

The medical teams at Ajyad Emergency Hospital and the Holy Mosque Hospital and Emergency Centers, a member of the Makkah Health Cluster, provided their services to 148,674 beneficiaries during the past year 2024, through the emergency department of the Ajyad Emergency Hospital and the Holy Mosque Emergency Hospital and Centers. The Makkah Health Cluster explained that the number of laboratory tests that were conducted during that period 172,113 analyses, and the number of beneficiaries from the radiology department was 19,753, while the number of medical prescriptions reached 264,403 medical prescriptions, indicating that Ajyad Emergency Hospital and Al-Haram Hospital provided medical services for 1,282 intensive care admissions during the year 2024.

The health cluster pointed out the effective and important role of the medical system in serving the patient, providing integrated health care, and harnessing all the hospital’s workforce to support needs at various diagnostic, preventive, therapeutic and awareness levels according to pre-prepared plans.

It is noteworthy that Ajyad Emergency Hospital and Al-Haram Hospital are the closest to the Grand Mosque and operate at full capacity and medical staff. There are also emergency centers in the corridors of the Grand Mosque affiliated with the hospital to serve visitors, pilgrims, residents and those visiting the Holy House of God, operating 24 hours a day in accordance with the procedures and protocols followed by the Ministry of Health.
