In 3 sessions…the “Hafr Al-Batin Forum” discusses investment trends in the Kingdom

During 3 dialogue sessions, the “Hafr Al-Batin Investment Forum 2025” discussed the efforts of ministries and government agencies in following up on the implementation of many national strategies, the competitive advantages that Hafr Al-Batin Governorate possesses in several investment sectors, and the creation of a safe and stimulating business environment for private sector investments.
The first session, entitled “Strategic Directions for Investment in the Kingdom,” addressed the role of the national and sectoral strategy supervised by government agencies in maximizing the benefit of the comparative and competitive advantages of Hafar Al-Batin.
It touched on the most prominent sectoral investment initiatives, programs and plans to develop private sector investments in the Kingdom in general, and Hafar Al-Batin Governorate in particular.
It shed light on the investment targets, the programmes, plans and initiatives that the concerned authorities are working on, and their impact on the cities and governorates of the Eastern Region.

Promising investment prospects and opportunities

Participants in the second session, entitled “Hafr Al-Batin – Promising Investment Prospects and Opportunities,” spoke about the efforts made by the concerned authorities in crystallizing investment opportunities and developing them to suit the region according to its competitive advantages.

They reviewed the basic pillars required to strengthen the position of Hafar Al-Batin Governorate on the Kingdom’s investment map as a major destination for local and regional investments in various sectors.

Towards an attractive investment environment

While the participants in the third session, entitled “Towards an Attractive Investment Environment,” provided an overview of the most prominent systems and policies that the Kingdom has witnessed to encourage investment.
The most important measures and plans that it takes to raise the competitiveness of the investment environment in accordance with international standards, and the most prominent developments and developments related to incentives, capabilities and facilities provided to the business sector in the Kingdom.
They stressed the importance of increasing the private sector’s contribution to the total gross domestic product in accordance with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
They discussed developments and developments related to the investment system and other related systems, and investment possibilities in the Kingdom in general.
The “Hafr Al-Batin Investment Forum 2025” is held under the patronage of the Emir of the Eastern Province, and organized by the Hafr Al-Batin Chamber of Commerce with the support of the Union of Saudi Chambers, with the participation of 24 governmental and private bodies.
