ABU DHABI, 9 JANUARY / WAM / The Emirates Cycling Team “XRG” announced the launch of its new season by participating in the “Down Under” Tour, which will be held in Australia during the period from January 21 to 26, and then participating in the UAE Tour, which begins next February. .
The team enters the new season with greater ambition to achieve more successes after last season, during which it achieved record numbers that saw 20 of its riders win in various races for the first time in 24 years in the history of the game, in addition to the team achieving first place in the World Tour team classification for the second time in a row. After achieving his goal this year, recording 81 victories, while Tadej Pogacar led the team’s efforts once again, concluding the year as the best cyclist in the world for the fourth consecutive season.
The team confirmed its participation in several major tours, including the Giro d’Italia next May, the Tour de France in July 2025, and the La Vuelta and El Lombardia races.
