Saudi Statistics Authority: The industrial production index increased by 3.4% in November

The industrial production index index in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia rose last November by 3.4%, compared to November 2023, supported by an increase in mining activity, quarrying activity, manufacturing activity, water supply and sanitation activity, and waste management and treatment activities, according to the Saudi Press Agency. (SPA).
Data from the Saudi General Authority for Statistics today, Thursday, showed that the sub-index for mining and quarrying activity increased by 1.2% on an annual basis, and the sub-index for manufacturing activity increased by 7.2%, while the sub-index for electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supplies activity recorded a decrease by 2.1%, while the sub-index for water supply and sanitation activities and waste management and treatment activities recorded an increase of 10.5%.
The results indicated an increase in the oil activities index by 3.8%, and an increase in the non-oil activities index by 2.4%, compared to November of the previous year.
