I will work to build the best relations with Arab countries

Lebanese President-elect Joseph Aoun pledged to rebuild what Israel destroyed in the south and the southern suburbs of Beirut.

Aoun said in a speech before the House of Representatives after his election as President of Lebanon, “I will work to confirm the state’s right to “monopolize the carrying of weapons,” and that the right to carry weapons be limited to the state.

Joseph Aoun added: I will work to build the best relations with Arab countries.

He said: We have a historic opportunity to restore relations with Syria.
