DUBAI, 10 JANUARY / WAM / Under the patronage and presence of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Supreme Chairman and CEO of Emirates Airline and Group, President of Emirates Aviation University, the university celebrated the graduation of the 34th batch, and honored 288 of its graduates who successfully passed the graduation requirements and are preparing to enter the world of industry. His Highness presented the graduates with certificates during a ceremony held on the university campus.
Graduate specializations included graduate and undergraduate programs in aviation management, aviation engineering, aviation security safety, software engineering, aircraft maintenance engineering and others.
Professor Ahmed Al Ali, Vice President of Emirates Aviation University, said that the university will continue its commitment to adopting next generation technologies and new learning methods that hone students’ capabilities and readiness to face the changing challenges in the air travel sector, pointing out that the employment rate after graduation reaches 84%.
This year’s batch of graduates included 288 students, including 100 graduate students and 188 undergraduate students, including 37 students sponsored by Emirates Airlines.
Emirates Aviation University honored 14 distinguished students in all specializations, as their achievements reflected the university’s commitment to graduating future leaders in the field of aviation.
More than 180 students had the opportunity to train at the Emirates Group for more than one semester.
