The President of Iran congratulated Joseph Aoun: We are ready to enhance cooperation with Lebanon
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian confirmed today, Friday, his country’s readiness to enhance cooperation with Lebanon in various fields, during the term of the new President Joseph Aoun.
This came in a message sent Baha Bezeshkian, to the President of Lebanon, Joseph Aoun, during which he congratulated him on his election with a majority of votes in the House of Representatives.
The Iranian President expressed – during the telegram, according to the news agency Iranian “IRNA” He expressed his hope that these elections, which came as a result of the agreement of the majority of political parties and parties in Lebanon, would lead to political stability, economic growth, peace and security for the people of Lebanon.
And he was elected " Joseph Aoun – Yesterday – as President of Lebanon with a majority of 99 votes during a secret ballot for the House of Representatives in the second round of voting; In the first round, he received 71 votes out of a total of 128 votes.
