المملكة: Back tomorrow… 40 days until the end of the second semester

Tomorrow, Sunday, 12 Rajab 1446 AH, more than 6.7 million students, both male and female, in public, private, and international public education will resume their studies in more than 36,000 schools across the Kingdom, after the end of the mid-term vacation of the second semester.
This return witnesses the completion of all preparations to ensure a distinguished start to the educational process, as education departments focused on preparing school facilities, maintaining buildings, and providing all educational supplies.

The Ministry of Education indicates that there are 40 days remaining until the end of the second semester, which is scheduled for Thursday, Shaaban 21, 1446 AH.
During this period, educational staff are working to implement integrated educational plans aimed at raising the level of academic performance and enhancing the educational environment.

Remaining vacation dates

The academic calendar for the year 1446 AH includes the following dates: return after the mid-term vacation of the second semester on Sunday, Rajab 12, 1446 AH, and the end of the second semester on Thursday, Shaaban 21, 1446 AH.
The Foundation Day vacation is on Sunday, Shaban 24, 1446 A.H., winter vacation is on Monday, Shaban 25, 1446 A.H., and the beginning of study for the third semester is on Sunday, Ramadan 2, 1446 A.H.

Eid al-Fitr holiday is on Thursday, Ramadan 20, 1446 AH, the beginning of school after Eid al-Fitr holiday on Sunday, Shawwal 8, 1446 AH, and an extended weekend holiday on Sunday and Monday, 6 and 7 Dhu al-Qa’dah, 1446 AH.
Eid al-Adha vacation is on Friday, Dhu al-Hijjah 3, 1446 AH. The beginning of school after the Eid al-Adha holiday is on Sunday, Dhu al-Hijjah 19, 1446 AH. The beginning of the end-of-school year vacation is on Thursday, Muharram 1, 1447 AH. The start of study for the new academic year 1447 AH is on Sunday, Rabi` al-Awwal 1, 1447 AH.

Readiness of schools and staff

The Ministry of Education confirmed that education departments in all regions have completed their preparations to receive male and female students, including maintaining school facilities, equipping classrooms and laboratories, and ensuring the availability of technical systems to support the educational process.
