Naguib Sawiris: Proximity to society is the most important secret of a person creating his brand
Dubai, January 11 / WAM / Egyptian businessman and investor Naguib Sawiris reviewed his vision on the concept of “the person as a brand”, highlighting the importance of success at work or in the company as a prelude to building a strong and distinctive individual identity in the era of accelerating digital communication.
This came during a dialogue session entitled “How do you become the brand?” It was moderated by Emirati entrepreneur and content creator Anas Bukhash within the activities of the One Billion Followers Summit 2025, organized by the UAE Government Media Office, and will continue until January 13, at (Emirates Towers, Dubai International Financial Center, and Museum of the Future) in Dubai, under the slogan “Purposeful Content.” .
Naguib Sawiris, one of the largest businessmen in Egypt and one of the most successful entrepreneurs in the world, followed by more than 10 million and 600 thousand followers, touched on the secret of his brand’s success by saying, “I am a person very close to society, and everyone can reach me with ease… I deal with… In all humanity, I am with everyone, and I do not care about being the best, but rather about being a human being.”
Sawiris said that the only situation in which I would like to be in first place is in work and study. During my studies in Europe, I was in second place in college, and I never talked about that because my ambition was to aim for first place.
Sawiris explained that dealing with him is based on two principles: love or hate, and said: I do not accept working with someone I do not like.
He called for optimal use of time and investing it in work and achieving achievement instead of wasting it in negative energy.
Naguib Sawiris pointed out his speed in making decisions after proper study based on facts, considering that success requires speed in making the right decision at the right time, and that slowness is not good when doing business.
Sawiris discussed the role of artificial intelligence in daily life, considering that the developments of artificial intelligence and its use in all aspects of life kill the human touch, and in the near future we may see an entire film produced with artificial intelligence without the presence of any actor or human intervention, and we may see a painting in an art gallery produced by… artificial intelligence.
Naguib Sawiris called on entrepreneurs to work hard and continuously for creativity and giving to spread happiness among people. He said: Wealth alone does not bring happiness, but rather the necessity of spreading it among people.
