Gabon: The new electoral law determines the campaign budget for Senate candidates

The new draft electoral law presented by Gabonese Minister of the Interior and Security, Herman Imongault, sets the spending ceiling for candidates in the Senate elections at 30 million CFA francs. These restrictions, which also apply to other elections, aim to avoid disparities in financial spending between candidates.
