Conclusion of the health prevention campaign for senior citizens
ABU DHABI, 13 JANUARY / WAM / The activities of the health prevention campaign for senior citizens, organized by the Emirates Professional Football League, Mubadala Investment Company, the Community Contributions Authority – Together, and the Family Development Foundation in Abu Dhabi, concluded yesterday evening, Sunday, which lasted for two days at “Al Mariah Active” in Abu Dhabi, in continuation of the Football for the Elderly project that was launched on January 4th.
The Professional League announced today that 120 people aged 60 years and above, male and female, benefited from the campaign, which included holding health and awareness workshops, and included a range of sporting activities.
The participants were honored as the UAE Professional League and its partners in the event handed over certificates of participation in appreciation to those who joined the program for their commitment and keenness to promote a healthy and sports culture.
The UAE Professional Football League confirmed that it will continue, with its partners from Mubadala Investment and the Community Contributions Authority – together, its initiatives for a healthy and sporting society through the Football for People of Determination axis, which will launch on January 18 and continue for four weeks.
