“SAMA” experimentally launches the electronic services portal “eSAMA”

The Central Bank of Saudi Arabia (SAMA) announced the trial launch of the electronic services portal “eSAMA”, which allows individuals, including citizens, residents, the business sector, and government agencies, to access the Central Bank’s services electronically.
This step comes within the framework of the Central Bank of Saudi Arabia’s strategy for digital transformation, to automate the services provided to individuals and entities, through a unified and secure digital portal.

23 electronic services

In the first phase of launch, the portal includes 23 services, the most prominent of which are the services for requesting the exercise of the rights of personal data subjects, requesting to join the legislative experimental environment, in addition to requesting access to open banking, and requesting no-objection for leadership positions, with more services to be launched successively.
The electronic services portal “eSAMA” aims to provide services electronically as an alternative to traditional methods of executing transactions, thus enhancing the users’ experience of speed of completion, ease of access, and data protection using the latest technologies.
“eSAMA” can be accessed by visiting the website of the Central Bank of Saudi Arabia through the link here.
