A state of emergency… a rise in the number of cholera infections in Angola

Health authorities in Angola announced that 170 cases of cholera were recorded, including three new deaths and 51 infections, during the past 24 hours.
The ministry stated that the disease had spread to two additional municipalities in the Luanda Capital Province, prompting authorities to activate national emergency response measures, with the crisis escalating since the first confirmed case was recorded on January 5, 2025.
