Opening of the 20th edition of the exhibition "Steel Fab 2025" In Sharjah

Sharjah, January 13 / WAM / Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Ports, Customs and Free Zones Authority, today opened the activities of the 20th edition of the Steel Fab 2025 exhibition, the largest event in the metal business sector in the Middle East and North Africa region, which is organized by Expo Center Sharjah is supported by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The exhibition continues for 4 days with the participation of more than 600 local and international brands and 350 exhibitors from 33 countries, displaying the latest technologies produced by their companies in the formation of steel and metal industries.

Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Qasimi toured the exhibition and met a number of exhibitors and representatives of participating foreign and local companies and pavilions. He listened to an explanation about the products and technologies used in the steel and iron industry and was briefed on examples of the latest innovations that abound in the metal industry and technological progress in this field.

Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Qasimi was accompanied during the tour by His Excellency Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Expo Centre, a number of members of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Chamber and Expo Sharjah, His Excellency Mohammed Ahmed Amin Al Awadi, Director General of the Sharjah Chamber, and His Excellency Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of the Sharjah Expo Centre. His Excellency Abdullah Sultan Al Owais stressed the interest of the Sharjah Chamber in supporting the metal industries sector, which is one of the pillars of economic growth and constitutes the solid base from which various manufacturing and infrastructure industries are launched. He pointed out that the annual expansion of the Steel and Steel Exhibition makes it a strategic event that enhances the country’s position on the industrial map and contributes to Promoting economic development through the fertile environment the exhibition provides for exchanging experiences and investment opportunities between major manufacturers, suppliers, investors and experts in this vital industrial field.

For his part, His Excellency Saif Mohammed Al Midfa pointed to the successes achieved by the Steel Fab Exhibition two decades after its launch as one of the most important specialized industrial events in the region and a witness to the industrial growth achieved by the Emirate of Sharjah and the UAE, during which the exhibition witnessed a remarkable development as it began in its first edition with the participation of 48 exhibitors.
