“Seeking proximity.” Daoud Hussein and Hassan Al-Balam in Abu Dhabi

Showing the play in Abu Dhabi comes as an extension of the great successes it has achieved since last year, after it presented full performances in the State of Kuwait and the Riyadh season in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The story of the play “Seeking Closeness” revolves around a young man and a young woman, whose love relationship culminates in marriage, but family problems haunt them and stand in front of them, and they try to overcome them. The list of heroes of the play “Seeking Proximity” includes: Daoud Hussein, Hassan Al-Balam, Zahra Arafat, Abdul Aziz Al-Nassar, Fahd Al-Bannai, Muhammad Al-Ramadan, Ghada Al-Zadjali, Nouf Al-Sultan, Ali Al-Husseini, and Khaled Al-Sajjari. Hassan Al-Balam
Al-Balam had moved, during the past months, to reside in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, after contracting with the Entertainment Authority to launch a theatrical artistic project, under the title “Comedy Factory,” which aims to support and develop young talents in the fields of writing and acting in Saudi Arabia. Al-Balam called on fans of comedy and theater to join this initiative, saying: “Theater needs artists who have ambition and talent. If you have talent and are looking for support, theater is calling you.”
