المملكة: Civil Defense displays a search and rescue drone at the Hajj conference

At the Hajj Conference and Exhibition, in Jeddah Governorate, during the period from (13 – 16) January 2025 AD, the General Directorate of Civil Defense reviewed an unmanned aerial vehicle (Drone), which is used in emergency situations in search and rescue operations.
Visitors to the exhibition were briefed on the working mechanism of the aircraft, which is equipped with artificial intelligence technologies, a flight duration of up to 60 minutes, a search range of up to 15-20 km, a payload of up to 40 kg, and a day and night camera.

The plane is used to transport food, medicines, and emergency services to hard-to-reach locations, such as mountain rescue incidents, forest fires, and floods.
