Emirates Health confirms the interest of the country’s wise leadership in empowering medical competencies

Dr. Yousef Mohammed Al Sarkal, Director General of the Emirates Health Services Corporation, confirmed that the vision of the country’s wise leadership in empowering medical competencies contributes to enhancing the quality of health care and providing health services with international standards that reflect the UAE’s aspirations for excellence.

The Foundation organized its second annual ceremony on the occasion of the graduation of 23 doctors from residency and clinical fellowship programs, in the presence of a number of officials in hospitals and primary health care centers, those in charge of residency and clinical fellowship programs, and strategic partners from university presidents and representatives of the National Institute for Health Specialties and the Health Studies Coordination Office of the Arab Board of Specialties. Health.

Dr. Yousef Al Sarkal congratulated the graduates on this achievement, which represents an essential pillar in achieving the vision of the country’s leadership to build an integrated health system based on innovation and continuous learning, expressing his pride in the high level of commitment and giving that the graduates demonstrated during their academic career.

For her part, Dr. Kalthoum Al Balushi, Chief Innovation Officer and Director of the Training and Development Center at the Emirates Health Services Corporation, said that the Corporation’s investment in training programs is an investment in the future of healthcare, and it is an integral part of its mission to build a world-class health system that puts innovation and excellence at the core. Dr. Laila Taryam, Head of the Medical Education Department at the Foundation, stressed the Foundation’s continuous endeavor to improve the quality of the health system in the country, pointing out that one of the Foundation’s main goals is to increase the participation of Emirati doctors in various health care specialties, in line with the UAE Centennial Vision 2071, which focuses on investment. In human capital as a basic pillar of sustainable development.

She added that the Emirates Health Services Corporation intends to enhance the integration of artificial intelligence and virtual reality technologies into future training programs, which will contribute to supporting practical application practices using advanced medical simulation techniques.

The graduation ceremony included honoring the programs that received program accreditation from the National Institute for Health Specialties (the Emirates Board) in the specializations of pediatrics, psychiatry, and anesthesia. This achievement comes as an affirmation of the institution’s commitment to improving the quality of training and qualification programs, which strengthens the country’s position as a regional center for medical excellence.

On the sidelines of the ceremony, the Foundation organized a scientific research exhibition that showcased the research projects prepared by members of the residency and clinical fellowship programs, and three distinguished research was honored that contributed to providing innovative scientific solutions to a number of pressing health challenges.
