Parliamentarian: Stopping the war in Gaza reflects Egypt’s efforts to defend the rights of the Palestinian people

Representative Sami Souss, a member of the House of Representatives from the Mostaqbal Watan Party, said that the success of the Egyptian, American and Qatari efforts to reach an agreement between Hamas and Israel for a ceasefire in Gaza, which includes the exchange of prisoners and detainees, the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, and the cessation of military operations between the two parties, confirms the success of the intensive mediation efforts. The representative stressed the necessity of supporting Egypt’s efforts to bring humanitarian aid and relief to the brothers in Gaza through the border crossings and for it to pass safely, appreciating the announcement of the entry of the largest aid shipment. Through the Rafah crossing with a minimum of 600 shipments as a first stage, stressing that Egypt has not and will not abandon its support for the Palestinian cause and its defense, and will not allow the implementation of the displacement plan, the liquidation of the cause, and the loss of the people’s right to establish their state.
