المملكة: The Qur’an is a cure for all heart and physical ailments

His Eminence the Imam and Preacher of the Grand Mosque, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, said that in a world full of crises, challenges, delusions, and complaints, and in societies where acts of magic, sorcery, and eye diseases are widespread, and cases of anxiety, turmoil, worries, and anxieties are exacerbated, it is among the destinies of the Creator, Glory be to Him, to test individuals and societies.
He explained that for one group the test is a relief to the calamities of perfection, and for another it is an expiation for bad deeds, and the whole affairs of the Muslim are carried to goodness. God Almighty said: “And it may be that you hate a thing while it is good for you, and it may be that you love a thing while it is evil for you.”
He explained that being reminded of the issue of fortification and immunization is the most important thing that people need, especially in these times in which diseases have spread and penetrated many souls.

Prevention and immunization

He emphasized that the Qur’an and the Sunnah are the balm and cure for every sickness and ailment. God Almighty said: Say, “It is for those who believe a guidance and a cure. How many sick people are on the verge of destruction and death, and the luxury of sanitariums and the skill of doctors did not help in their ailment, and they were treated with legal ruqyah, so God granted them recovery and recovery.”
He cited the words of Imam Ibn al-Qayyim: The Qur’an is the complete cure for all heart and physical ailments, if the sick person is treated well with it. So how can the ailments resist the words of the Lord of the Earth and Heaven, which if it descended on the mountains would crack them or on the earth would cut them off?
He stressed that prevention and fortification are a way to avoid harm and morbidity. Muslims must protect themselves with the legal supplications, morning and evening supplications, and all proven supplications from the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, as they are the protective fortress, God willing, with complete trust in God Almighty.
