المملكة: Before his official visit, the Speaker of the Shura Council praises relations with Malaysia

Confirm President of the Shura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Ibrahim Al-Sheikh, the strength of relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom of Malaysia, in light of the common interest it enjoys in strengthening it in various fields.
The Chairman of the Shura Council, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Sheikh made an official visit to the Kingdom of Malaysia at the head of a delegation from the Shura Council, in response to an invitation he received from the Speaker of the Malaysian House of Representatives, Jawahiri Abdul.
This comes within the framework of strengthening parliamentary relations between the two countries.

Developing parliamentary relations

Dr. explained. Abdullah Al Al-Sheikh said that the visit to the Kingdom of Malaysia comes within an ongoing process of developing parliamentary relations and consolidating channels of effective communication between the Shura Council and the Malaysian House of Representatives, which reflects the common interest these relations have in strengthening them in various fields.
He stressed that the established historical relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom of Malaysia constitute a solid base for raising parliamentary cooperation to more effective levels, looking forward to this visit contributing to expanding the scope of coordination and consultation, and supporting the directions of The leadership of the two countries towards enhancing development paths and achieving the common interests of the two countries and the two brotherly peoples.

Official Discussions Session

During the visit, the Speaker of the Shura Council will hold an official discussion session with the Speaker of the Malaysian House of Representatives, during which they will review the close bilateral relations that bring the two countries together, and ways to enhance parliamentary cooperation and raise the level of coordination in international forums.
The accompanying Shura Council delegation includes members of the Council, Mr. Faihan bin Abdulaziz bin Labda, and Dr. Asim bin Muhammad Madkhali, M. Ali bin Ayed Al-Qarni, Khalid bin Muhammad Abu Milha, and a number of council officials.
