Muhammad bin Hadi Al-Husseini discusses ways to enhance financial cooperation with Uzbekistan

Mohammed bin Hadi Al Husseini, Minister of State for Financial Affairs, held a virtual meeting with Jamshid Koshkarov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, during which he discussed ways to enhance cooperation in areas related to the financial sector, in addition to sectors of common interest between the two friendly countries.
At the beginning of the meeting, Mohammed bin Hadi Al Husseini welcomed His Excellency Koshkarov, expressing his appreciation for the close relations between the UAE and Uzbekistan, and praised the progress achieved by Uzbekistan within the framework of its development strategy.
The two sides stressed the importance of strengthening financial partnerships between the two countries, and noted the results achieved by the delegation of the Government of Uzbekistan, which was received by the Ministry of Finance last November within the framework of the “Financial Leadership Programme”, to exchange experiences and knowledge in the financial, banking and investment fields.
Mohammed bin Hadi Al Husseini said: “We are constantly working to strengthen relations in the financial fields with Uzbekistan, which contributes to achieving growth and prosperity for both countries. We value Uzbekistan’s efforts in implementing the partnership program between the public and private sectors, and we look forward to more cooperation to support these joint initiatives. We will continue to explore new opportunities to enhance cooperation and achieve sustainable development.”
