The last day’s sessions began with the fourth session, entitled “Supporting Social Entrepreneurship Projects through Government Policies and Strategic Partnerships.” It addressed policies for supporting and promoting social entrepreneurship projects in the Kingdom, and studied international best practices in establishing strategic partnerships between the government, the private sector, and the non-profit sector to support entrepreneurship projects. The sixth scientific session was presented, entitled “Social Innovation and Improving Community Services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Innovative Applications),” reviewing examples of social entrepreneurship projects that have led to improving community services in the Kingdom of education, health care, and community services, in addition to discussing the role of entrepreneurship projects. The seventh and final session was entitled “Capacity Building and Skills Development in the Field of Social Entrepreneurship Projects” and discussed developing strategies to enhance education and training in the field of social entrepreneurship and provide the skills necessary to develop successful projects.
On its closing day, the summit also witnessed the holding of a dialogue session entitled “Giants in the Field of Social Entrepreneurship,” which dealt with the success stories of social entrepreneurs in light of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and shed light on the success stories of social entrepreneurs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in issues of economic, social and environmental development.
It is noteworthy that the summit witnessed the participation of elite specialists in the field of social entrepreneurship from 11 different countries.
