exhibition "Sharjah through our eyes" It highlights the aesthetics of the emirate

Sharjah, 18th January / WAM / The activities of the “Sharjah Through Our Eyes Exhibition”, organized by “Marsam Café” under the supervision of the Emirates Fine Arts Society, began today at the Sharjah Walk and will continue until the 31st of January with the participation of 9 photographers displaying 27 photographic works about Sharjah to highlight the aesthetics of Sharjah through the eyes of Sharjah. Dr. Muhammad Youssef, Professor of Arts at the University of Sharjah and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Fine Arts Society in Sharjah, said that the exhibition seeks to highlight young talents and display their creativity, which represents serious steps in the artistic direction of the painting.
Visual artist Obaid Sorour Almas, founding member of the Emirates Fine Arts Society, praised the artworks displayed, which indicate a promising and promising level of representation from the participants in the required representation in these artistic fields on behalf of the state in internal and external forums, wishing them continuity, competition, the search for excellence, and the manifestation of national identity in the participations.
For her part, Nazik Al-Mirghani, Director of Marsam Café, said that the exhibition represents a new window to see Sharjah through the eyes of the creative youth who showed us how art can be a means of communication and expression. In this exhibition, we witnessed a great diversity in styles and techniques, as the young artists used a variety of lenses. And corners to highlight the aesthetics of Sharjah.
Ammar Al Farsi, a photographer specialized in aerial photography, will participate in the exhibition with three different images that express the beauty of the nature of the Emirate of Sharjah, such as green nature, marine nature, and desert nature.
Ahmed Obaid, a photojournalist, worked on the Sunset in Sharjah series through three photos of different sunset views among Sharjah landmarks.
Maitha Qasim, a photographer specialized in architectural and heritage photography, displays a picture of Al Noor Island, Al Noor Mosque, and a monument in Sharjah to highlight the architectural beauty of the emirate, while astronomical photographer Moza Al Marzouqi displays a group of pictures of the bright golden moon from Mount Maliha.
