3 Egyptian films participate in the first session of the Nineveh Film Festival in Iraq

Three Egyptian films participate in the Nineveh International Film Festival held in the city of Mosul in its first session in Iraq on February 5th.

 

The festival administration said in a press statement today, Saturday. The Egyptian films participating in the festival are “The Lady of the Arab Theater” by director Ashraf Fayek, “I Was Myself” by director Osama Al-Qazzaz, and “I Go to Love” by director Ezz El-Din El-Feki.

 

The festival administration had announced the participation of 11 countries and 20 films in the first festival session held on the 5th, 6th and 7th of next February, explaining that the accepted films had been selected. Among the 398 cinematic films from around the world are narrative, long, short, and animated films.

 

It was announced that the jury of films participating in the festival It includes film critic Mahdi Abbas, head of the committee, actor Zuhair Abdel Karim, author Nazir Al-Azzawi, director Muhammad Al-Mahdi, and director Karim Jarro.

 

The Iraqi city of Mosul is hosting the first session of The festival offers exclusive screenings of new and distinctive films that combine creativity and inspiration in the presence of the brightest stars of Arab and Iraqi art.

 

Dr. Ahmed said Fakak Al-Badrani, Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Antiquities, said that through the Nineveh International Film Festival, they seek to make Mosul an attractive environment for filmmakers and bring together film makers and fans from all over the world.
