Abdullah Belhaif Al Nuaimi: The UAE is a pioneering model in sustainable leadership

Al Ain, January 19 / WAM / His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Advisory Council of the Emirate of Sharjah, stressed that sustainable leadership and anticipating the future require a long-term vision and a deep understanding of the needs of society, noting that the United Arab Emirates has provided a unique model in this field.

This came during a lecture entitled “Sustainable Leadership and Foreseeing the Future” organized by the Salem Bin Ham Cultural Center in Al Ain, in the presence of Sheikh Muslim Salem Bin Ham Al Ameri, Chairman of the Center’s Board of Directors, and a number of personalities, officials, members of the Advisory Council of the Emirate of Sharjah, writers, interested people, and the media.

Al Nuaimi discussed the concept of sustainable leadership, which is formed thanks to society’s interaction and its ability to build leaders who inspire generations. He pointed out that the UAE has achieved great progress over the past decades, thanks to the vision of its founders who looked to the future without relying on data or modern technologies, but rather thanks to their deep understanding of the needs of… Their people and their ability to predict the challenges ahead.

He pointed out that the UAE, under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is a living example of sustainable leadership and anticipating the future, explaining that His Highness the President of the State attaches great importance to investing in the human element and knowledge as they are the driving forces of the wheel of development and economic diversification. His Highness’s forward-looking vision contributes to strengthening the UAE’s position as a leading country in the fields of education, economy, and technology.

Al Nuaimi cited strategic projects, such as the “Barakah” peaceful nuclear energy plants, which came as a result of a proactive vision of the country’s leadership to meet future energy needs and reduce carbon emissions. He praised the inspiring leadership of the rulers of the Emirates, and cited positions that reflect cohesion between the leadership and the people, such as the efforts of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan. Bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, in enhancing community cohesion and meeting the needs of citizens.

He stressed that sustainability requires a safe and stable environment, which enhances the ability to produce and develop, noting the importance of future planning in areas such as housing.
