المملكة: Departure of the first flights for beneficiaries of the initiative "Mecca Road" From Malaysia


The first flights departed from From Malaysia today, to the Kingdom via the Initiative Lounge at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, heading to Prince Muhammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Medina, in the presence of the Malaysian Minister of Religious Affairs, Zulkifli bin Hassan, and the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Malaysia, Osama bin Dakhel Al Ahmadi.

It aims to To provide high-quality services to the guests of God from the countries benefiting from them, by receiving them and completing their procedures in their countries with ease, starting with taking vital information and issuing the Hajj visa electronically, through completing passport procedures at the airport of the country of departure, after verifying the availability of health requirements, coding and sorting the luggage according to the transportation and housing arrangements in the Kingdom, and moving directly to the buses to take them to their places of residence in the regions of Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Medina. With designated routes, while the partner agencies deliver their luggage to them.

Initiative "Mecca Road"

It is noteworthy that the Ministry of The initiative is being implemented in its eighth year in cooperation with the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Health, Hajj and Umrah, Information, the General Authority of Civil Aviation, the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), the General Authority of Endowments, the Guests of God Service Program, and the General Directorate of Passports, in integration with the digital partner (stc group). Since its launch in (1438 AH / 2017 AD), the initiative has witnessed a service (1,254,994) pilgrims.
