"Sharjah Economy" Look at projects "Pioneers"
Sharjah, January 19 / WAM / His Excellency Hamad Ali Abdullah Al Mahmoud, Chairman of the Sharjah Department of Economic Development, reviewed the results of the participation of the “Digital Stores” project, one of the members of the Sharjah Foundation for Supporting Entrepreneurial Projects “Ruwad”, in the exhibition and conference for emerging companies in the Republic of Korea in the capital, Seoul.
During his meeting, at the department’s headquarters, with the digital warehouse project management team, Al Mahmoud listened to a brief explanation about the services and products provided by the project and the objectives of its participation in this global exhibition.
The marketing and promotional results he achieved were also reviewed, especially his success in concluding a partnership and cooperation agreement with the Korean side, under which a group of leading Korean companies in the field of e-commerce will be attracted to launch their business in the UAE, specifically in the Emirate of Sharjah.
Al Mahmoud expressed his pride in the success achieved by the pioneering projects that joined the Ruwad Foundation, and their contribution to enhancing the entrepreneurship environment in the Emirate of Sharjah.
He stressed that entrepreneurial projects have great potential that qualifies them to attract foreign investments and partnerships, and are an example of the status of the entrepreneurship sector and national projects launched by Emirati entrepreneurs among the priorities of the Sharjah government.
Al-Mahmoud pointed out that the Department of Economic Development harnesses all capabilities and resources to stimulate this sector and encourage young people to establish innovative projects that support the economy and serve society.
He called for increased support for the participation of entrepreneurial projects in major events, conferences and exhibitions related to the entrepreneurship sector, which gives them the opportunity to exchange experiences and learn about the latest global innovations, and contributes to promoting our successful national projects.
