The UAE air defenses handle 16 ballistic missiles and 113 drones

Today, Sunday, the UAE air defenses detected 17 ballistic missiles, 16 of which were destroyed, while a ballistic missile fell into the sea. 117 drones were also detected, with 113 drones intercepted, while 4 drones fell within the country’s territory.

Since the start of the blatant Iranian attack, 238 ballistic missiles have been detected, with 221 ballistic missiles destroyed, while 15 of them fell into the sea, and two missiles fell on state territory. Also, 1,422 Iranian drones were monitored and 1,342 of them were intercepted, while 80 drones took place inside the country’s territory, and 8 mobile missiles were also monitored and destroyed.

These attacks resulted in 4 deaths of Pakistani, Nepalese, and Bangladeshi nationals, and 112 moderate and minor injuries among Emirati, Egyptian, Sudanese, Ethiopian, Filipino, Pakistani, Iranian, Indian, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, Azerbaijani, Yemeni, Ugandan, Eritrean, Lebanese, Afghan, Bahraini, Comoros, and Turkish nationals.

The Ministry of Defense affirms that it is fully prepared and ready to deal with any threats and to firmly confront everything that aims to destabilize the security of the state, in a way that ensures the preservation of its sovereignty, security and stability and protects its national interests and capabilities.
