State Athletics Championship "People of determination" Launches February 23
Khor Fakkan, January 19 / WAM / The National Paralympic Committee has approved the launch of the State Athletics Championship for People of Determination on February 23, with the participation of elite players at the club level.
The committee also announced the conclusion of the second athletics gathering for people of determination at the Khor Fakkan Club for the Disabled, with the participation of 140 male and female players representing 8 clubs.
Theban Salem Al Muhairi, Secretary General of the National Paralympic Committee, stressed the importance of this gathering in refining the players’ skills and enhancing their preparations for upcoming competitions, in addition to being a station to evaluate the players’ performance before the start of the state championship.
Al Muhairi explained that supporting sports for people of determination is a priority for the National Paralympic Committee, which is committed to providing all means to support players and clubs, thanking the Khor Fakkan Club for the Disabled for its distinguished hosting of this event.
