The launch of the tests for People of Determination in the Ras Al Khaimah Holy Quran Award
Ras Al Khaimah, January 20 / WAM / Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, the tests for People of Determination in the Ras Al Khaimah Holy Quran Award were launched at the state level, with the participation of 140 male and female contestants in cooperation with the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination and the City of Sharjah Humanitarian Services, Al-Thiqa Club for the Disabled, the Dubai Club for People of Determination, and many care and rehabilitation centers nationwide.
Sheikh Saqr bin Khalid bin Humaid Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ras Al Khaimah Foundation for the Holy Qur’an and its Sciences, confirmed that this competition comes within the framework of supporting the wise leadership of various segments of society, especially people of determination who represent a living example of will and challenge.
He said that the Ras Al Khaimah Holy Qur’an Award’s interest in this precious category reflects our commitment to providing an enabling environment that highlights their capabilities and enhances their effective contribution to achieving success in various fields and excellence.
For his part, His Excellency Ahmed Mohammed Al Shehhi, Director General of the Ras Al Khaimah Foundation for the Holy Qur’an and its Sciences, said that this competition is a great opportunity for people of determination to promote the values of tolerance and love that characterize the UAE, adding that the award aims to highlight the talents of people of determination and develop their spiritual and mental abilities, within the vision of Wise leadership in empowering people of determination and integrating them into society.
His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Ibrahim Subayan Al-Taniji, Secretary-General of the Award and Chairman of the Supreme Organizing Committee, pointed to the wide participation from the People of Determination category, including 72 males and 68 females, all competing in the spirit of creativity and excellence.
He explained that people of determination are an integral part of the fabric of society, and that the award seeks to shed light on the exceptional achievements achieved by this category, and to enable them to achieve their ambitions and dreams, stressing that the award will continue its support for this category in line with the vision of the wise leadership in promoting constructive societal contributions from various segments.
