The Gulf Cooperation Council and Hong Kong discuss developing relations in all fields

The Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, Mr. Jassim Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, met in the city of Switzerland with the Minister of Finance of Hong Kong, Paul Chan Mo Po.
This came on the sidelines of the fifty-fifth annual meeting of the World Economic Forum 2025.

Relations between the Gulf Cooperation Council and Hong Kong

During the meeting, several topics were discussed, most notably the relations between the two countries and ways to develop and strengthen them in all fields.

Especially in the economic and investment field to achieve common goals, in addition to discussing the free trade agreement between the GCC countries and Hong Kong.

Asian Finance Forum 2025

The two sides also reviewed the Gulf Cooperation Council’s participation in the Gulf dialogue session, which was held within the sessions of the Asian Finance Forum 2025 in Hong Kong.
As well as praising the outcomes of this session, which was held for the first time within the forum’s sessions.
