I have a good relationship with the Al-Wasl coach… and there is no pressure on us

The technical director of the Saudi Al-Nasr team, the Portuguese Jorge Jesus, confirmed his team’s readiness to face Al-Wasl in the quarter-finals of the AFC Champions League 2, noting that the match represents an important station in the team’s journey towards competing for the continental title.
Jesus said during a press conference: “The match is very important for us, and we are fully prepared for it. We do not suffer from any absences, and all the players are in the best technical and physical condition.”
He added: “Playing to win is natural for us. This is the culture of Al-Nasr Club, and we are accustomed to dealing with such pressures.”
Al-Nasr coach referred to the nature of the tournament system, saying: “The one-match system may give a relative advantage, and the Al-Wasl team may benefit from it, but we are ready for this challenge and will deal with it in the required manner.”
He continued: “There is no pressure on us. We are at the top of the Saudi Roshan League, and we have reached this stage in the Asian Championship, and this reflects the great work that we are doing, and we have the ability to compete for both championships this season.”
Jesus spoke about his relationship with Al-Wasl coach Rui Vitoria, saying: “I have a friendship with him and previous memories, but today we are facing a new challenge on the field, and each party seeks to achieve victory.”
He stressed that his team will enter the match with a winning mentality, stressing: “Our goal is clear. We want to achieve the league title and the AFC Champions League 2, and we will fight to achieve that.”
