Imaginary wealth awaits Mohamed Salah in the Saudi League… a poor offer from Liverpool

The British website “Football Insider” confirmed that Egyptian international Mohamed Salah will become the richest player in the Saudi League if he moves to Al Hilal during the winter transfer period.

The website quoted financial expert Stefan Borsson as saying that it is “strange” that Liverpool did not submit a large financial offer to keep the “Egyptian King” among its ranks, even though his contract expires on June 30.

The financial expert said that Liverpool FC is in a weak position in negotiating with Mohamed Salah to renew the contract, after the huge offer from Al Hilal Saudi Arabia.

Burson continued: “Even if the contract was for two years for 25 million pounds annually, I think this would be logical for Liverpool according to his level of physical fitness, with the possibility of a clause allowing for a reduction, if his fitness and level suddenly declined.”

He added: “I think there is a great chance that Salah will leave at the end of the season, and he will end up receiving a huge sum in Saudi Arabia, and become richer than he is now.”

Salah can negotiate with any team outside England and leave for free after the end of his contract, and he has repeatedly said that the chance of his departure is greater than the chance of him staying.

Many media outlets, including the Saudi Sports Channel, reported that Al Hilal made a huge offer to Salah in exchange for about 300 million riyals for two seasons with the 32-year-old Egyptian national team captain.
