"Al Wathba Festival" .. 200 products from industries related to Emirati dates

Abu Dhabi, January 21 / WAM / Al Wathba Dates Festival stores display more than 200 distinctive products from industries related to Emirati dates, made locally according to the highest international specifications and standards. The diversity of products dazzles visitors to the festival in its second session, which is organized by the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority, and continues until… Next February 28 in the Al Wathba area in Abu Dhabi, as part of the Sheikh Zayed Festival activities.
Date shops provide a unique opportunity for visitors to discover Emirati date industries and purchase their needs of date products offered by 40 shops.
The products include “date dressing” for different varieties of dates “such as Khalas, Shishi, Shabibi, Seif plant, Horse plant, and Sagai,” in addition to luxury date boxes and hospitality trays made in traditional and modern methods, as well as artistic masterpieces, bags, and household utensils made from palm leaves. Such as myths, narrations, mujba, yarrab, and other valuable heritage products.
The stores also display distinctive products in which dates are the main ingredient, such as juices, date ice cream, various date snacks, mixed date dishes and various types of rings.
The products of the date shops at Al Wathba Festival include rare and innovative date industries, such as date pickles, date vinegar, date kernel coffee and many other products.
On the other hand, the Al Wathba Dates Festival will witness a date packaging competition tomorrow (Wednesday), where it will receive entries from contestants at the festival site near the main entrance to the Sheikh Zayed Festival in the Al Wathba area in Abu Dhabi.
