The launch of the award in its new form comes as an extension of the “Creativity” Award for Media Students, which was launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, in the year 2001, as a platform aimed at discovering distinguished competencies among media students in Various Arab countries, and giving Arab media institutions the opportunity to benefit from these competencies and involve them in various media sectors.

Award categories

Al-Shamsi added: “Participation is now open to male and female students studying media sciences in all Arab countries.
