Shabab Al-Ahly does not stop winning.. Al-Jazeera is the latest victim

Shabab Al-Ahly continued its victories in the ADNOC Professional Football League, defeating its guest, Al-Jazira, 2-1, yesterday, at the opening of the 13th stage of the competition.

Shabab Al-Ahly jumped to the top of the overall standings of the competition table “temporarily,” and has a postponed match, after raising its score to 32 points (10 wins and two draws), while Al-Jazeera’s score froze at 21 points in fifth place.

Federico Cartabia opened the scoring for the hosts in the 36th minute after following up on a shot he played towards Al Jazira’s goal, and goalkeeper Ali Khaseef returned it, and the Shabab Al Ahly striker completed it in the goal.

The “Dubai Knights” did not celebrate the goal for more than two minutes, as Al Jazira defender Khalifa Al Hammadi was able to score the equalizing goal, after a pass from Mamadou Koulibaly, to complete it into the goal.

Before the end of the events of the first half, Luka Milivojevic was able to regain the lead for the benefit of Shabab Al-Ahly, after a ball that passed Moaness Dabbour’s head, and he followed it into the Al-Jazira net.

For its part, Ajman was able to achieve victory over Khor Fakkan with two unanswered goals, in the match that brought them together yesterday at Khor Fakkan Stadium.

“Orange” took the lead early with a goal scored by Khor Fakkan player, Argentine Pedro Pavlov, by mistake, when he tried to clear Ismail Momen’s shot, putting it with his foot past goalkeeper Ahmed Al Hosani (18).

Moroccan Walid Azaro increased the visitors’ lead with a goal he scored in the 87th minute, from a counterattack created by the newcomer, Ali Madan. With this victory, Ajman rose to ninth place, raising its score to 16 points, while Khor Fakkan remained tenth with 14 points.

Al Ain returned to winning ways again, after defeating its guest, Al Nasr, 4-1, in the match that brought them together, yesterday, at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium.

Al Ain took the lead through Kaku, after a pass he received inside the box from his teammate Felipe Salomone, and he shot it with his left hand in a difficult place (12), and Sufyan Rahimi increased his team’s lead by scoring the second goal, after a distinguished individual effort, before putting the ball from under the feet of the Al Nassr goalkeeper ( 24).

Sufyan Rahimi returned to manipulating the defense and the goalkeeper, and passed the ball on a golden platter to Muhammad Awadallah, who easily put it into the net (72).

Rahimi continued his brilliance, scoring the fourth goal after an organized attack, which he ended with a shot that the goalkeeper did not succeed in blocking (76), while Nasser Al-Nuaimi scored the goal of reducing the difference for Al-Nasr, after its legitimacy was confirmed by the “mouse” technique (89).

Al Ain rose to fourth place with 22 points, the same score as Al Nasr, which remained fifth in direct confrontations.
