Sharjah was defeated with a heavy result. Shabab Al-Ahly takes the lead in the league with the red line

The Shabab Al-Ahly team pushed its competitor, Al-Sharjah, away from the competition for the Professional Football League title, after defeating it 4-1 today, Thursday, at Sharjah Stadium, in the presence of more than 4,000 spectators, as part of the 15th round of the competition.
With this victory, the “Dubai Knights” strengthened their lead in the standings with 38 points, continuing to consolidate their superiority at the top, while Sharjah’s balance froze at 17 points, effectively removing the “King” from the race to compete for the league title as the tournament entered an advanced stage.
The match witnessed a strong start from the guests, as Bruno Lemos opened the scoring early for Shabab Al-Ahly in the 6th minute, before Sharjah succeeded in equalizing through Firas Belarabi in the 42nd minute. The most prominent turning point was in the last minute of the first half, when the referee showed the direct red card in the face of Igor Kornado, allowing Sharjah to complete the match with a reduced number, which clearly affected its technical and mental balance.
Shabab Al-Ahly took advantage of the numerical deficiency in the best way, quickly regaining the lead in the 50th minute through Yahya Al-Ghassani, before Saeed Ezzat Allah increased the score with the third goal in the 65th minute, amid a clear decline in the ability of the hosts to keep up with the match pattern.
With Sharjah’s late push and attempts to reduce the gap, Shabab Al-Ahly took advantage of the spaces, and Joao Marcelo concluded the goal festival by scoring the fourth goal in the 87th minute, confirming the superiority of the “Dubai Knights” and bringing the curtain down on a difficult night for the “King” fans.
