FIFA announces the suspension of the registration of Egyptian club Zamalek for the 11th time

The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) announced the suspension of a new registration for the Egyptian club Zamalek for a period of three transfer periods, in the case of its former Senegalese player, Ibrahima Ndiaye.
Zamalek had previously resorted to the International Sports Court (CAS) in order to file an appeal against the ruling issued by FIFA in favor of Ndiaye, but the ruling issued by CAS decided to uphold the ruling issued by the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), as it obligated the white team to pay the player’s dues, which exceed one and a half million dollars.
Ndiaye joined Zamalek in the summer transfer period of 2022, spending two seasons with the team, during which he participated in 52 matches in various competitions, during which he scored 10 goals and provided 5 assists to his teammates, and won the African Confederation Cup (African Confederation).
Ndiay previously played for the Egyptian Wadi Degla club before playing for the Swiss team Luzern for three seasons.
This is the 11th case for Zamalek, in which he was sentenced to suspend his registration for three periods, as FIFA previously announced that he was banned from registering in 10 previous cases, due to late payments to a number of former players and coaches, in addition to the clubs through which he secured his summer deals during the current season.
It is noteworthy that Zamalek currently occupies second place in the Egyptian Premier League standings with 28 points from 14 matches, 4 points behind Ceramica Cleopatra (the leaders), who played 15 matches.
