A tender to develop Abu Ghazal Park in the capital

The Capital Municipality announced the launch of a tender, through the Tenders and Auctions Board, requesting the implementation of comprehensive rehabilitation works for Abu Ghazal Park, as part of the drive to rehabilitate entertainment areas and increase green areas in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The Municipality of the Capital stated, in the tender document, that the contractor must perform all the required rehabilitation work, which includes rehabilitation of the existing fountain, service buildings, advertising boards, flooring, external fence and awnings, in addition to lighting poles.

The value of the initial guarantee was set at 500 dinars, with a validity period of 180 days, while the duration of the contract extended to two months, with February 12, 2025 set as the closing date.

It is worth noting that the Capital Municipality Council visited the gardens and parks in the Fifth District, where it monitored the needs of Abu Ghazal Park in Block 331, before concluding that the park needs to install rubber flooring, maintain the park’s umbrellas and sanitary facilities, in addition to maintaining and activating the fountain, in addition to that the park It needs comprehensive maintenance, including electrical work, strengthening lighting, and installing lighting poles with strong lighting.
