المملكة: 144 violations were monitored as part of an intensive monitoring campaign in central Riyadh neighborhoods

The supervisory teams of the General Authority for Transport, in cooperation with the Joint Operations Room, monitored more than 144 violations in the neighborhoods of downtown Riyadh, as part of an intensive monitoring campaign aimed at verifying the extent of carriers’ compliance with the regulations and requirements in force in the transportation sector.

Efforts to organize transportation activities

The campaign comes within the framework of the General Authority for Transport’s ongoing efforts to regulate transport activities, raise the quality of services provided, and ensure service providers’ compliance with regulations and regulations, in a way that achieves fair competition, enhances the protection of the rights of beneficiaries, and increases the rate of regulatory compliance.

The campaign includes verifying the safety of vehicles used for transportation, reviewing the extent of compliance with official permits and licenses, and controlling violations related to safety conditions and preventive measures, in order to ensure the provision of high-quality services according to the highest standards.

Kingdom Vision 2030

The General Authority for Transport confirmed that this campaign comes within its strategic plan to develop the transportation sector and achieve the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, as it continues to implement oversight campaigns periodically to control violations and monitor the extent of compliance with regulations and requirements.

The Public Transport Authority called on all citizens and residents to report any observations or violations related to the transportation sector through the official channels designated for that, stressing that their role is a key partner in supporting the Authority’s efforts aimed at improving the quality of services provided and raising the level of beneficiary satisfaction.
