Ghannam discusses with the Red Crescent the arrangements for receiving prisoners in the second batch

 The Governor of Ramallah and Al-Bireh, Dr. Laila Ghannam, today, Wednesday, with a delegation from the ambulance and emergency department at the Palestine Red Crescent Society, made the necessary arrangements to receive prisoners liberated from the occupation prisons as part of the second batch of the deal.

The delegation included Ahmed Jibril, director of ambulance and emergency services at the society in the West Bank, Ibrahim Al-Ghoula, Director of the Governorate Ambulance, and Muhammad Saeed, Director of the Volunteer Department at the Red Crescent Society. Dr. confirmed. Ghannam said that the prisoners are national symbols of the steadfastness of our people and their struggle in the face of the occupation, stressing the importance of providing all efforts to ensure a reception worthy of their sacrifices in coordination with all competent authorities, especially sick prisoners who need special medical care in light of the policy of deliberate medical killing to which they are exposed. The governor said: “The Palestinian Red Crescent plays a pivotal national and humanitarian role in receiving the liberated people and treating the wounds of our people, and we are proud of its permanent partnership to serve and protect our people.” She pointed out the importance of collective work to embody the meanings of national unity in receiving prisoners, as a message of loyalty to their steadfastness and ongoing struggle for freedom. For his part, Ahmed Jibril called on citizens to cooperate and respond to the instructions of the ambulance and emergency teams, stressing the need to adhere to calm and order while receiving prisoners, in order to preserve the safety of everyone and ensure the provision of urgent medical support to the prisoners, especially the sick. He added: " We thank the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate for its efforts, and we must appeal to all citizens and families to stay away from the chaos and cooperate with the crews working in the field, led by the Red Crescent, to facilitate the task of providing the necessary health care to sick prisoners and quickly transfer them to hospitals.
