Al-Fujairah wins by five…and leads the “amateur” league

The Fujairah team achieved a valuable victory over its guest, Gulf FC, 5-1, yesterday, in the 14th round of the First Division League, to rise to the top spot, partnering with Al Dhafra and Al Arabi, with 26 points, while Gulf FC’s balance remained at six points.

Frenchman Sander Benbachir scored for Fujairah (35, 83 and 92), Ghanaian Basset Sidou (70), Senegalese Ismail Sonko (79), and Brazilian Reiner Alves scored for Gulf FC (40).

Al Dhafra won over its host Masfout 2-1, raising its score to 26 points, with goals from the winner Rayan Yeslam (30) and the Frenchman Mohamed Yatara (86), while the Moroccan Hamza Al-Ghattas scored for Masfout (66), freezing his score at 14 points.

“Gulf United” defeated its host “Majd” 2-1, making its score 10 points, and “Majd” eight points.
